I turned 20 today, quite nice! Managed to get myself a 40″ LCD TV that’s been incredibly useful so far, loving it.
The film course started up today as well, looking quite promising. Gonna be utilizing everything from a 5000$ camera to Premiere Pro/After Effects so that’ll be quite fun. Let’s just hope that my team will be cooperative and not a bunch of slackers like the last couple of years. *cough*
Managed to write down a bunch of new gameplay elements on my train to school for Sound of Silence as well. I’m starting to have  a seriously good feeling about where this is going. To give everyone a quick overview about how it will play: It’s a survival horror game with much less focus on gore and blood like other horror titles (Resident Evil, Dead Space) and much more focus on story, ambience and sound, hence the name of the game. The game experience will be completely dependent on your choices ranging from which direction you choose to how fast you can complete a challenge, meaning that the game will analyze your worst fears and bring them to life in the most realistic ways possible.
I will most likely make a much more detailed blog post about this later once I’ve managed to hook some more people in to this project. Still gonna need C# programmers and 3D artists/animators…
Happy Birthday Michael!
I hope you had fun and a perfect day today! 20 is a sweet age
and gratz for your LCD
posting about the movie and the game makes me more and more curious, I can’t wait anymore, can we see some pics?
btw, no e-mail after you posted this.
Thanks! I’ll be sure to post more information once I feel that I’m satisfied with the amount of content I’ve written for the design doc.
Also, thanks for the feedback about the subscribe button, I’ve removed it for now since it didn’t seem to work. I’ll find another module once I have the time.
Happy birthday!
Happy birthday. And that game sounds like something in the style of Amnesia dark descent, just more complex.
I’ve only played it a little bit, but I can see what you mean. What I want to do is focus much more on story, ambiance and atmosphere as opposed to close encounters with zombies. We’ll just have to see how this turns out.
Happy birthday!
I’ve always had an interest in film, it really sounds quite fun
Happy birthday! Your present will be your shop access!
Haha, I wish!
Happy birthday! BTW, the subscribe thing didn’t work for me. Checked my spam folder, not their either.
Yeah, I removed it for now, didn’t seem to work at all.
Happy birthday!

Congrats on your TV too, I heard those were really good TVs
Hey Michael, I hope you had a good b-day, sorry I was late.
You’re doing a great job as a designer (not only for EE).
Great news about the film and the game too, I can’t wait to see how it comes out.
